Praha! 1

The train ride from Vienna to Prague was seven hours. Looong. So we listened to audio books, watched shows on the iPad, slept as much as we could and looked out the window.

But we finally made it. :)
Here are a few things we saw.

Powder Tower. Built in 1475 under the reign of King Vladislav II Jagiello in case you were wondering.
We went to Old Town Square or Staromestske
The statue of Jan Hus - The Martin Luther of the Czech Republic (Martin Luther as in religious reformation, not African American rights...)

The Clock Town and Astronomical Clock. Hundreds of people gather here every hour on the hour hear the clock chime and statues of the 12 apostles nod their head in approval.

The Church of Our Lady before Tyn

The tower leading to Charles Bridge from Old Town Square

A view of Prague castle from the bridge

A man with a monkey music cart. :)

a little street

The love lock bridge. Lover write or engrave their names and the year on a lock, then attached it to this bridge. How fun!

The Lennon Wall. Very cool.
More of Prague to come!
